Much of my work takes the form of simple studies of place. I’m less interested in landmarks than in the details that come to define a memory: a striped awning, a pool house, a boat just offshore, geraniums in a square. Mediterranean Studies - (Part I) brings together five of these observations, drawn from the visual language of holidays in France and Italy and the way certain places linger in memory long after you’ve left them.
